A princess from the Planet Salad. She's the daughter of King Broccoli, the former ruler of the Salad Kingdom.

She was kidnapped by the power-hungry Minister Pumpkin, who staged a rebellion and held her captive in his castle. Luckily, she was freed by the brave Sir Cucumber.

She now rules over the once again peaceful kingdom in her father's place.

Special Ability

Princess Tomato Bomber's special ability is Princess Light (プリンセスライト, purinsesuraito). When it is activated, Princess Tomato Bomber enters a special pose for two seconds. She cannot take any actions during this time, but the pose can be ended by pressing the special ability button again. If another character touches her, the effect immediately ends, and that character gains invulnerability from explosions for 20 seconds. Princess Tomato Bomber must wait 10 seconds to be able to use Princess Light again.

If the immune character is hit by a blast, the blast is blocked at the square before the character, invulnerability is dispelled, and the character is flung back up to three squares. If the character hits an obstacle in the way, they fall down and are briefly stunned.

Although it is intended for use in team play, Princess Light can be helpful when used against opponents in special cases. Bestowing immunity upon an opponent can block a blast and protect both characters. In particular, if both characters are trapped in the same space, such a maneuver could be advantageous.

  • Princess Tomato Bomber comes from Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom, a game released by Hudson Soft.
  • Originally, Princess Light could not be ended prematurely. In update 2.1 on June 27, 2018, the option to cancel the ability was implemented.
